The Tannery
| Managed By | Yugo |
| Address | Mill Street, The Liberties, Dublin 8, D08 K0HD |
The Tannery is one of Dublin's most thoughtfully designed student residences. Located on Mill Street in The Liberties, it was designed by Shay Cleary Architects as part of a wider urban regeneration effort in Dublin 8, and it shows. The building is clad in Jura Beige limestone, wrapped around a generous communal courtyard with quality landscaping, trees, and seating. It does not look or feel like a typical student block.
Operated by Yugo, The Tannery sits next to its sister building, New Mill, and residents also have access to the social spaces at Brewers' Close. Together, these three buildings form what Yugo calls "The Village," one of Dublin's larger student communities. For students who want both a quality room and a ready-made social life, this setup is hard to beat.
TU Dublin Grangegorman is a 10-minute walk from the front door. Trinity College Dublin, RCSI, and Dublin Business School are all within 15 minutes on foot.
