Their apartments do not have any heaters or fans within the bedrooms however there is a ceiling fan in the lounge room of each apartment. The Student Lounge and E Library have air conditioning. Please note that you are welcome to bring your own fan and enclosed column heater as per the village rules: In the interests of safety, heaters with an exposed element, small fan heaters, and bar heaters are prohibited within the village. If heaters are not supplied in your Room, residents are only entitled to use enclosed column heaters with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1,200 watts with the prior consent of Village management. Please use common sense when using the heaters. Do not leave heaters on when you leave your room or apartment and do not place any items of clothing or any other article over or close to a heater.
It is $4 per wash and $4 per dry cycle. All of their machines are card only.
It's important to make sure that you always know where your keys are. If you do misplace your room key, please note that there is a $20 cost to replace your swipe and $256.50 inc. GST cost to replace your metal room key. These costs will be placed directly onto your account and need to be paid immediately.
Living in shared accommodation means that everyone needs to pitch in to keep the apartment clean and tidy. There is no housekeeping service. If there are apartment disputes you can arrange with reception to have village management mediate an apartment meeting.
There is always something happening within the village! Pick up your semester events calendar from the E-Library for your wall to make sure you never miss an event. Like their Facebook page and follow them on Instagram to stay up to date!
