Waterside Court Reviews

  • Couldn't ask for better accommodation. This is the perfect place to stay when studying and working in Chester. Just a 10-minute walk from the main university campus and 10 minutes to the centre of town.
  • There is on-site parking, too. This accommodation has great facilities, and is also very cheap with rooms under £500 with all bills included. The management team is amazing; Alison is always happy to help and resolves any issues quickly.
  • There are student ambassadors on call at the weekends who are always happy to help with any issues. I stayed for one year and have now rebooked for another year.
  • At Waterside court student accommodation, I am extremely impressed with my experience. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The facilities are top-notch, including a well-equipped kitchen, a study room, and a common room with a TV and games.

Final Verdict

Waterside Court offers a strong set of fundamentals for students seeking privacy, reliable study spaces, and convenient access to Chester’s campus and city amenities. The Deluxe En-Suite arrangement, high-speed Wi-Fi, on-site maintenance, and security features align well with typical student needs. Verbatim student feedback highlights clean rooms, a serene canal view in many rooms, friendly staff, and a walkable distance to campus and town. However, several trade-offs are evident: limited and charged parking, the potential for higher noise in a communal living setting, and tight room availability during peak periods. The pricing data suggests a competitive weekly rate for the area, with some reviews noting all bills included, but exact inclusions can vary by unit and lease.

If you’re prioritizing en-suite privacy, a calm study environment, and straightforward access to campus, Waterside Court is worth evaluating further. If parking flexibility and ultra-quiet, car-free living are critical for you, you may want to compare alternative options or verify current terms directly with the property.
