Superdry's student discount is 10% off, claimed through UNiDAYS, and it works in store as well as online. You will find reputable sources stating 20%, and they are not exactly wrong: Superdry raises it to 20% during limited promotional periods. As of July 2026, the standing rate is 10%.
Status: active. 10% standard, 20% during promotions. Last verified 28 July 2026.

Why do sources disagree on the percentage?
Because the number genuinely moves, and pages get written at one point in the cycle and then never updated.
Checking in July 2026: Marie Claire, SheerLuxe, Student Beans and independent discount trackers all report 10% via UNiDAYS. Save the Student's page reports 20%, and also notes the discount can often be combined with sale offers.
The most likely explanation is that Save the Student captured a promotional window and the page has not been refreshed since. That is not a criticism of a site we have cited repeatedly elsewhere in this series; it is what happens to every discount page that does not carry a verification date.
It is also exactly why we put one at the top of this page, and why you should distrust any student discount page that does not.
The practical takeaway: assume 10%, check UNiDAYS before buying, and if you catch a 20% window, that is the moment to buy the expensive thing.
How do you get the Superdry student discount?
Verify your student status through UNiDAYS using your university email address, and you will be issued a unique code to enter at checkout.
Student Beans also lists Superdry, though its offer is redeemed externally and will typically route you back through UNiDAYS anyway. UNiDAYS is the primary route and the one to use.
There is also a one-off 10% code for signing up to the Superdry newsletter. Worth taking if you are not already a UNiDAYS member, though not stackable with anything.
Can you use it in store?
Yes. Open the UNiDAYS app and show your digital student ID at the till.
This puts Superdry ahead of both Hollister and Sports Direct, which restrict their student discounts to online only. Same 10% headline number, more places you can actually spend it.
For a brand whose main draw is jackets and coats, being able to try one on and get the discount in the same transaction matters more than it would for basics.
What about sale items?
Here the sources conflict again.
Save the Student reports the discount can often be combined with sale offers. Other trackers describe it as applying to full price items only.
Given the disagreement, treat sale stacking as something to test rather than plan around. Add the sale item to your basket, apply the code, and see what happens before you commit to the purchase. It costs nothing to check and it is the only way to get a current answer.
Is there a better way to save at Superdry?
Two, and both routinely beat 10%.
The outlet
Superdry's outlet section regularly runs up to 50% off across hundreds of items, covering jackets, coats, hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts and accessories.
Given that a Superdry jacket is the main reason most students shop there, and jackets are among the items most likely to appear in the outlet as seasons turn, this is the highest-value route by a wide margin.
Black Friday
Superdry participates heavily and typically applies a blanket site-wide percentage in late November. That is when the higher-priced winter coats become reasonable.
If you can survive to the end of November in your existing coat, waiting is worth real money. If you cannot, because you have moved to Manchester in October and discovered what that means, buy the outlet version now.
What about delivery?
Superdry does not currently offer free standard home delivery.
Click and collect to a Superdry store is free, which on a single hoodie order is worth more than the student discount is. If there is a store near your accommodation, use it.
The honest summary
Superdry's student discount is fine rather than good. 10% on full price, in store and online, occasionally doubled during promotions.
The reason to shop Superdry as a student is the outlet and the winter sales, not the student code. Use the code when you are buying current-season full-price stock and no better offer is running, which is a narrower set of occasions than it first appears.
Where it does beat its direct competitors is usability. Being able to walk into a shop, try a coat on, and get 10% off at the till puts it ahead of the online-only alternatives at the same headline rate.
