Unsafe, unsanitary, and absolutely not worth your money! When I first moved in in 2024 I paid just over £6000 for the year, then in 2025 when Student Cribs took over, this price rose to over £10,000 for the year - and were there any improvements that made this price worth it? Absolutely not. For starters the website states there is communal study spaces, which there is not. Between contracts of tenants moving out and new tenants moving in, there is two days in between, which shows there is no proper deep cleaning or completion of maintenance works for the new tenants. We had a dangerous issue of homeless individuals breaking in and sleeping inside the building and stealing packages, which took them over four months to fix. There has been numerous occasions where I was locked outside due to the door locks outside stopping working. My bathroom ceiling had leaked multiple times and tripped the electric many times throughout the entire flat, so good luck if you’ve moved into that flat.

Great place to live in the centre of fallowfeild

The flats are spacious but the buildings are old and not entirely structurally sound, my bathroom had a lot of wood rot when i moved in and it took a while for them to fix it. The main issue with this accommodation is the people though, maintenance will sometimes let themselves in as you're getting up to answer the door and when they've done their work and leave, on many an occasion they've left my front door open and this has happened when I haven't been home either. Also the builders hired by this accom are even worse, leaving lights and switches on and the front door open too. On top of this, once you've made a maintenance request you've given permission for your flat to be entered whenever, in other accoms you have the option to choose dates that would be best for you but here you don't have that choice. And with no locks on bedroom doors as well its hard to feel like you have privacy. Overall the flats are nice but living here feels like you are borrowing someone elses space.
