No. We don't assess academic performance. We're looking for authentic stories about resilience, ambition, and what it means to study far from home — not transcripts.
Each of the 50 winners receives £500 paid directly via bank transfer within 7 days of the announcement. It can be spent on accommodation, tuition, books, or living costs — entirely your call.
Yes. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students alike, as long as you're studying internationally.
The essay must be submitted in English, as our review panel operates in English. We recommend writing in whichever language you're most comfortable with and translating — authentic voice matters more than perfect grammar.
