Is there any charge for booking The Standard at New Brunswick through uhomes.com platform?

There is no fee for booking through uhomes.com. The contract rent you sign is the same as that of the official apartment. All fees during the booking process are directly paid to The Standard at New Brunswick, and the contract is also signed directly with the apartment. The uhomes.com platform is responsible for helping you with the booking procedures, and will add the exclusive cashback of the platform to the discounts provided by the apartment.

Are the rooms in The Standard at New Brunswick furnished?

Each student apartment has fully furnished (excluding bedding) beds, sofas, etc., and will be equipped with refrigerators, dishwashers, microwave ovens, ovens, full-size washing machines and dryers, providing tenants with a warm home.

What does the rent include?

Rent includes basic electricity fee/basic water fee/basic garbage disposal fee/natural gas/internet/cable fee. The basic electricity and water fee means that the building will cover the basic water and electricity needs of students, and the excess will be paid by themselves.

Yes, you can occasionally invite friends to stay.

Can I check the nationality of my roommate, or ask to live with a friend?

Regarding racial issues, the building cannot inquire about the personal information of reserved roommates. If you have shared roommates when booking, you can note your needs, and the building will try to arrange it when there are vacancies. It is also recommended to book early, the earlier you book, the greater the possibility of limited arrangements.

What is the lease term? Can I move in early or just rent for a semester?

The apartment is rented according to the semester, and the rental contract ends from August to the end of July of the following year. Generally, early check-in is not allowed, but you can negotiate with the building. If there are vacancies in the previous session where tenants canceled the lease early, early check-in can be arranged. If the semester starts in the fall, the apartment cannot be booked for one semester; for the students who start the spring semester, if there are vacancies in the apartment, you can book a room from January to July.

Residents pay the next month's rent on the 1st of each month. Students can pay installments in a secure manner online, or they can check out at the leasing office at any time. To prevent late payments, please submit your payments by 9:00 am on the 4th (4th) day of a given month.

Is the marked rental price per person or the whole package?

The rent is for one person, and each person only needs to be responsible for his own bed.

How many bedrooms are in each room of The Standard at New Brunswick?

Depending on the room type you choose, the exact number of bedrooms will vary. Standard apartments offer Studio and 2 to 5 bedroom rooms.

I signed a 12-month lease contract, can I sublease it?

Subletting is permitted with an additional $250 contract modification fee.
