Re-let Form: re-let Re-let Fee: $500 (one-time payment via the portal) Re-let Process: Pay the re-let fee. The new tenant applies, gets approved, and signs the lease. Notes: The new tenant does not inherit any concessions. For re-lets after the lease start date, the new tenant can move in at least 5 days after the current tenant moves out (the apartment will inspect and clean the unit). If the new tenant wants to move in earlier, they must accept the unit "as is" (without cleaning). There are two options for finding someone to re-let your spot: You may advertise it yourself. We will also market it on our website. If you find a new tenant yourself: If you find someone, you need to email the apartment with the new tenant's information: full name, phone number, email, and intended move-in date. The apartment will then process their application. The new tenant will be required to pay the application and admin fees necessary to submit an application, and they will pay the rate on your lease, not the market rate on our website. Once the new tenant signs their lease, your lease will be terminated. The re-let process will be fully completed when the new tenant moves into the community. Just signing the lease and filling out the re-let forms does not complete the process. If the apartment markets the re-let and finds a new tenant (note: we cannot guarantee a replacement will be found): The new tenant will be required to pay the market rate listed on our website. We cannot guarantee that a replacement will be found, but we will market your bedspace on our website, just as we do with other available floor plans. If we are unable to find a new tenant, you will be reimbursed for the $500 re-let fee.
