1 Beissel St, Canberra 2617

Belconnen does not always receive the same attention as Canberra’s inner north when students begin looking for somewhere to live, but for anyone studying at the University of Canberra, working in the area, or simply looking for a practical and well-connected base, 1 Beissel St makes a compelling case. Built in 2003 and comprising 65 apartments, this established residential building sits in the heart of Belconnen Town Centre, placing residents close to shopping, public transport, recreation and everyday services. Located in postcode 2617, the property offers a more established style of apartment living than some of Canberra’s newer developments, while its position means many of the essentials of daily life are within easy reach. For students searching for student accommodation in Australia without necessarily needing to live in the CBD, this part of Belconnen provides a convenient alternative with a distinctly practical character.
