Alexandra Hall

It's a life-changing experience.

Fferm is a second home for me now, I love my room and I love my flatmates and you can easily socialise with other flats.

A bit on the expensive side, but quality of the accomodation is great. Great furniture, storage and comfort of bed. The maintenance team operate very swiftly.

In terms of actual accommodation. It is way above and beyond what I expected to get from University. My sister had previously attended Chester University and I was fed the constant story of how terrible shared spaces were and the fact that she could have her feet in the shower all the while being on the toilet and having her hands in the sink. But by a sharp contrast, my accommodation has felt unique and of a very high standard. The only counterpoint about Uni provided accommodation with Aberystwyth is that its at the top of the hill, which is ideal for going back and forth between classes, but not so ideal for the social life aspect, because spending £6 a time on a taxi is less than preferable for a uni student.
