This depends if your room is ready, so it’s best to contact the scheme direct. You would need to pay for the extra days beforehand.

Once you have paid your Advance Rent and you have been allocated a room, then should you decide to cancel then the amount equal to the lesser of (i) the Advance Rent and (ii) the amount equivalent to one week’s Licence Fee is non-refundable. If you have paid the Advance Rent and the licence agreement has been accepted by both parties then you will be held to the terms of the licence until a replacement licensee is found.

You can request to be in a room close to or within the same flat as your friends, however this is subject to availability. We will do all we can to accommodate your request. Subject to availability you may request to be in a single sex cluster flat for religious or cultural reasons.

If you’d like to change your room once you’ve moved in, we’ll do our best to accommodate you (providing we’re not fully booked). If you’ve moved to a cheaper room, any excess rent you’ve already paid will be taken off the next instalment. If you’ve already paid for the whole year, we’ll simply give you a refund of the difference.

It’s possible that you’ll be able to transfer from one Student Castle to another before moving in, but this completely depends on what we have available. If we can transfer you, your booking fee will move with your room – and unfortunately we can’t guarantee that you’ll get the same sort of room. If you need to request a transfer, contact the site manager at your original Student Castle location.

No. As per your Licence Agreement, if you’re caught smoking or tampering with smoke/fire detectors a charge may be applied to your account to cover call out charges of a fire engineer to check or repair the equipment. There are designated smoking areas at each of our developments which you are welcome to use.
