Excellent student accommodation, the rooms are clean and tidy. It's truly one of the best apartments in Bristol. Welcome to stay!

I have stayed at Tower for almost three years now. I originally lived in a Gold Studio, but for the past year and a half I have been in a Platinum Studio. The room itself is brilliant, there is plenty of space, and because I am on floor 0 the temperature stays comfortable, even with a small server and a high-end gaming PC running almost 24/7. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Management are super friendly, and reception is staffed 24/7 by either CSAs or security. In my experience, everyone has been great. I have only had one maintenance issue during my stay, and it was resolved the same day, which is very reasonable considering the number of students living here. Wi-Fi is included and provided by Glide. I have had no issues with it, and the internet is fast enough for gaming, studying, and remote work as a software developer. Over Ethernet I typically get around 800 Mbps down and 600 Mbps up. Security is excellent. All doors to rooms and communal areas are secured with Salto access control and unlocked using an RFID wristband, which I’ve found extremely convenient. I plan to stay at Tower for the rest of my studies and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end studio

The staff here are absolutely lovely especially Emily and Connor. Lots of great resources such as a gym, study room and cinema room. En suite rooms are spacious, comfortable and has a great view.

Where to start. Nigel is a great man, very friendly (as is most of the staff) and the studios have a presence of appliances and amenities that I didn't have in Beckley Point but that's about where the positives end. There's an over abundance of issues that have come my way during my stay here, including silverfish infestation that went ignored for the majority of my tenancy, multiple entries for various bugs that appear all over the flat, mould in the washing machine's seal, a washing machine that goes walkies when doing washing, the dryer portion of the machine barely working and only dries when it feels like it, mould under the sink in the kitchen, lights breaking in the bathroom, a leak under the sink from the washing machine, flat getting covered in dust the next day or even next morning after dusting/sweeping, kitchen sink's rusting and subsequently almost cutting me when turning it on thanks to taps that get stuck too easily, as well as a few, smaller issues here and there.

My experience here has been positive. Communal areas are cleaned regularly - I haven't used the social spaces due to COVID but from what I've seen they are good. Location is perfect for town and access to train station. Staff have been nothing but helpful - I had some teething issues with internet but staff have bent over backwards to resolve this for me. Having my own space is ideal and have already renewed for next year. Happy with my decision to move into this property.

For someone looking for one-person "studio flat" accommodation near Plymouth University, CPS is the best value-for-money I'm personally aware of. The location's perfect: barely a 10 minute walk to get to the University campus. My flat was spacious and easy to maintain. I only needed my own microwave, bin and internet router to have it fully equipped. The building's Wi-fi was fine. A room cleaning service was offered for an optional fee, though I didn't use it. There was a communal lounge on the second floor, though I didn't use that either as it was all one room, and I felt I'd get better privacy inviting friends directly to my flat. My flat has a handy remote security system where I could let people into the building using the flat's telephone. Staff who worked in the reception room were really nice and I felt I could easily go and talk to them at any time. My only criticism is that my flat got far too hot during summer months, and opening the window didn't help much.

This could be one of the best places. Excellently equipped accommodation, great location. But a huge disaster with cleaning and taking care of the interior. I left my apartment much cleaner than I found it. No one asked me to do this, but I hate being in such an apartment. Maybe you need to change the rules or the host.

Hi guys, To anyone considering staying here, genuinely don’t bother. Me and a friend booked a two bedroom apartment on the 18th -19th of October and it was the worst experience all around. Everyones talking about the ventilation inside which is bad. However, it is nowhere near as bad as the service here. We arrived at 3:30pm, check in was at 3:00pm and ask the receptionist to check in to our room. He says one second I’ll be right back I need to check if the apartment is done being cleaned, so I said okay. He comes back down 5/10 minutes later saying you can check in now but only one of the rooms is done being cleaned, I am confused at this point and ask him what he means. He explains that the cleaner wasn’t responding and came late. Ok thats understandable but could you please arrange a room transfer then? And he says no there are no rooms. Then he proceeds to hand the card and tells us to go upstairs. We go upstairs to floor 4 and the apartment has separate doors per room and one door us fully open being cleaned and allowing full access to the apartment We go into room 401. The floor is completely soaked and wet from mopping, like it wasn’t mopped properly so the room was covered in water and it took over 6 hours to dry as there is no ventilation in the rooms( due to the windows not opening ). There were also no bedsheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. So I go back downstairs and talk to the receptionist who was genuinely the worst person and most un wanting to help. We tell him that the floor is soaked and that there is no bedding or toiletries, and he tells me its not my fault thats not my job. So I’m upset at this point and ask for a room transfer and he says “no i cant, maybe you shouldn’t have gone for the cheapest option then.” Appalling mate. Bear in mind this whole time im on the phone with. Collegiate tower the mother managing company and they said that they’re trying their best but nothing ever happened. I kept asking the receptionist can you get me someone who can resolve this and he kept smiling and saying no there is no manager here. At this point I’m very upset so i just go back upstairs. In the end me and my female friend had to share the same bed and room because the receptionist wouldn’t give us toiletries or bed sheets saying its not his job. Genuinely ruined the trip before it even started, and the company has been denying the refund requests I put through with the Booking.com customer service team. i urge you not to make the mistake of booking this hotel.
