We have a 5-day "cooling-off period" policy. This means that if you need to cancel within 5 days after signing the lease, you can do so as long as you haven't moved in yet. If you go beyond the "cooling-off period," you can still cancel under certain circumstances, such as if your UK visa is denied or if you fail to meet the admission requirements of your chosen university. You just need to provide the UCAS notification or visa denial documents within 72 hours of receiving the relevant notice. If you find a qualifying replacement tenant, you can transfer the lease to them, and we will conduct a background check to confirm their eligibility; once approved, they can take over your lease agreement.

We offer permanently accessible rooms that meet your needs, as well as temporary adjustable accommodation rooms. If you need more information, please contact the dormitory team directly.

Yes, during your rental period, your room will be maintained and inspected at least three times. Any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items discovered will be recorded and dealt with. After each inspection, Alma Court Canterbury will inform you of the maintenance issues we have found and whether any fees need to be paid.

For privacy reasons, we do not disclose the names of residents, but you can learn about your future housemates through the resident group shared before your stay, or you can ask your dorm team for some information, such as gender, grade, and the school you’ll be attending.

About two months before the check-in date you selected, you can schedule a moving-in time that works for you. If you have any special accessibility requirements or travel concerns, please let us know at that time. If you need to check in early, we can also help arrange that—just contact your dorm team, and they will inform you of the available times and prices.

Unlike many other accommodation providers, we don't require a deposit to secure your booking. We only ask that you pay your rent in advance, which will be deducted from your first rent payment. You could say it's like a little gift for yourself, and by September, you will really appreciate its convenience!
