Rachel the RSA is extremely friendly and kind, always taking the time to say hello and ask how our day has been. Plans great events covering all sorts of hobbies and whatnot. Myself and My flatmate stayed at McDonald Road Prestige student living for 8 weeks during our summer internship at RBS. It is safe to say these were some of the 8 best weeks of my life. Not only are the rooms spacious and comfortable, but the social areas are well-equipped and a super space to hang out. I have to say the huge pool table became a personal fave. The accomm is very central (10 min walk to spoons) which was ideal for us. Equally the area is surrounded by gorgeous cafes and greenery, if that is more your cup of tea. Aside from the great facilities, the staff are amazing. The manager John, was particularly accommodating. He made us feel very welcome and was quick to resolve any queries we raised. The reception area was attentive, always a lovely smile as you leave for the day and friendly service when you return. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone, outgoing or quiet, as I have to say it has been the best experience I have had in as a student. Thank you so much for your lovely review! Have loved my stay at Mcdonald Road, great rooms and kitchens and have made so much use out of the common room, such a great social space, as well as the gym and cinema room. Great location, right next to the tram and so close to the centre, it couldn’t be better placed. And brilliant staff who have been so helpful and attentive. I’ve absolutely loved my stay at McDonald Road. The rooms and kitchens are excellent, and I’ve made great use of the common room, which is such a fantastic social space. The gym and cinema room have also been great additions. The location couldn’t be better. Right next to the tram and just a short walk from the city centre, making it incredibly convenient.
