Termination Policy
Should you decide to vacate during the tenancy period or cancel after signing the tenancy agreement, we may be able to release you from the tenancy agreement – subject to the following conditions: You agree not to assign or sublet the tenancy to another party without our prior written consent, as stipulated in Clause 7.1(n) of the tenancy agreement. You find a suitable replacement tenant willing to sign a new tenancy agreement to take over the remaining duration of your lease – this process is termed a lease takeover. You pay a £50 administration fee. Please note: We cannot process any refund until the replacement student has: a) Formally taken over your room contract, b) Signed the tenancy agreement, c) Paid all required fees, and d) Taken occupancy. If you are unable to find someone to take over your lease, you will remain fully liable for all rental payments until the end date specified in the tenancy agreement.
