Even though I paid a lot for the silver suite it lets an incredible amount of noise through and there is nobody to take care of any issues or find a solution. There are constant noises coming from the person above through the ceiling. If you are sensitive to noise I absolutely do not recommend it. Definitely don't choose it just because it's close to school.

The living conditions here are particularly unpleasant during the summer. The windows cannot be fully opened, so there is very little air circulation. During hot weather, the room becomes extremely hot and stuffy, making it very uncomfortable to stay or sleep in. Summer is made even worse by frequent and very noisy renovation work, which can be extremely disruptive, especially when you are trying to study, work, or rest in your room. Another serious issue is the waste disposal area. The bins are often completely full and the rubbish is not collected frequently enough. At night, I have seen many rats around the bins, which is both unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene perspective.

I've been living in the Pad for two years now and booked for my third and I am pretty satisfied. The staff members are really lovely people and always ready to answer questions and help with issues as soon as possible. The area is super clean and secure with cameras. There's fun events to partake in, sometimes freebies to enjoy, the common living area is perfect for small hangouts between friends or fellow neighbours and the study room works just well for when you're tired of studying in your room. I also appreciate how close the accommodation is to the RHUL campus. I live in an En-suite self catered studio and it's really comfortable for one person (yes even if you have a lot of stuffs there's storage space). Overall my main complain is the window (the only reason am not giving the full five stars), as it is a safety one it doesn't open as wide as I'd want it to which can be really annoying during summer heats, it gets really hot the higher your room is in (am on the second floor), am satisfied with the rest.
