What is advance rent? Do I still need to pay a deposit when renting Atlantic Point Liverpool?

Accepted Answer

Advance rent has replaced the deposit for most of our reservations. Some students who have made reservations through the university may still need to pay a deposit. Residents who have already paid the deposit can get a refund when rebooking. It is usually a £250 advance payment for the first rent, which you need to pay at the time of booking.

Which bills do I need to pay when renting the Atlantic Point Liverpool?

Accepted Answer

Most bills are included in the rent of Unite Students - Atlantic Point, including electricity, water, heating, and Wi-Fi fees. However, you must pay an additional TV license fee to watch live or on-demand TV programs.

How can I collect my key of the room at Atlantic Point Village?

After arriving at the Atlantic Point Liverpool, you can collect the key at the reception desk. You need to carry your photo ID directly to the reception desk, and the staff will prepare the key.

Do I need to pay council tax when renting Unite Students - Atlantic Point?

Accepted Answer

As a full-time student, you do not need to pay council taxes. However, you must inform the city hall of your city of your identity. If you want to know more details, you can contact our consulting team. If you leave the university during the rental agreement period, you may be required to pay municipal taxes. If your student status changes during the lease period of Atlantic Point, you also need to contact our advisory team.

Advance Rent is prepaid rent, used as a deposit. After you successfully check in, Advance rent will be deducted from your rent and will not be refunded.

Accepted Answer

Some of the rooms have a small number of double occupancy rooms. In addition to these properties, the Unite Students - Atlantic Point does not allow multiple occupants, nor does it permit minors under the age of 16 to live with their parents or guardians.

May I smoke in the Atlantic Point Village?

Accepted Answer

No, the Unite Students - Atlantic Point does not allow you to smoke or use e-cigarettes in the rooms or public areas. Atlantic Point Liverpool do have some designated outdoor Spaces. If you want to smoke, you can use e-cigarettes or smoke in these areas.

In the YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN part of the document, you can find the deadline for paying rent and the corresponding rent amount. How to pay rent?

There are two ways to pay the apartment rent, online payment or bank wire transfer 1. For online payment, please log in to the Account of Unite Students, click the Payments page, enter the rent amount to be paid in the dialog box, click the Pay button, and enter the payment card information. If it is a British savings card, select the Debit card type (the corresponding Billing address needs to be changed to a British address), if it is a Chinese credit card, select the Credit card type (the billing address remains the domestic address) 2. For bank wire transfer, please log in to the Account of Unite Students and click Booking page, download the Bank Transfer Info file, communicate with the bank in advance, and bring the corresponding materials to the bank counter or self-service money transfer machine for remittance. In the remittance postscript, please fill in the personal reservation information (refer to the content required in the bank_tranfer_info file). The wire transfer does not arrive in real time , please be sure to wire transfer 1-2 weeks before the deadline to ensure that the funds arrive on time. Since the bank will charge a cross-border payment service fee, please pay the required rent + service fee when paying the fee to ensure that the full amount arrives.

If you arrive on the same day but are only tens of minutes to a few hours late, you can wait at the front desk, and the staff will serve you after processing the students who have made an appointment. If you arrive on a different day, please click "Edit" in the check in summary of the Unite APP, and then choose a new check-in time that suits you. The apartment will also provide emergency contact information, which can be dialed at the entrance of the apartment or in a prominent place at the front desk. Alternatively, you can call the apartment's Emergency Control Center (UK) on 03003031611, and they will coordinate staff to help you.
