We had a very pleasant stay at the iq paris garden accommodations. The staff members were very kind and helpful! There are full equipped dining areas, a gym, and a rooftop with a great view. It is located in a walking distance to the river, southwark and waterloo stations, and bus lines, so it was very convenient, including at night. Take into account that there is no ac in the rooms.

I stayed here last year and honestly it was a complete disaster. Extremely hot during summers, the windows barely open properly, and there are literally no windows in the kitchen, shower and toilet. The whole place feels suffocating. The rooms are also ridiculously small for the amount of money you pay. Honestly, you can find way better properties for the price and services that IQ gives you. The fire alarm goes off multiple times a week, sometimes in the middle of the night for absolutely no reason, and management clearly does not care enough to properly fix it despite there never being an actual fire. Unless you want constant headaches and ringing ears from alarms at 3am, book somewhere else. Another issue almost everyone complained about was the hot water. Either there was no hot water at all, or the water became unbearably hot. Maintenance came every single week and somehow the issue still never got fixed. Same with the blinds - they didn’t close properly, there was barely any privacy, and despite multiple maintenance visits they still stayed broken. A lot of the rooms were inward facing too, which meant if you opened your blinds everyone could literally see into your room. Either you spend your whole day sitting in darkness or accidentally make eye contact with someone changing clothes at 7am. The lack of natural sunlight honestly affects your mood after a while. The internal lighting is terrible, the rooms feel dark and depressing, and the whole building just feels claustrophobic. The staff at reception themselves were polite enough and were probably just doing their jobs, but overall the company clearly prioritises profits over students’ wellbeing. They act extremely nice before you book, but afterwards it’s a completely different experience. There were constant repairs and maintenance visits, so you never really felt like you had privacy. They notify you and just enter your room whenever needed. I genuinely regret staying here. My experience was a complete nightmare and I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. For the same price, you can easily find much better private accommodation or even university halls with bigger rooms, better management, proper privacy, and facilities that actually work.

I have lived here for nearly a year and had a very wonderful experience. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are very friendly, especially the very young lady, who always provides me with timely help. Thank you!
