Double occupancy rooms:
After the apartment is open for renewal, students can contact the apartment reception to renew or submit an application in the application portal of Canvas. Please note that there is no commission for renewal via Acolyte Living
You can contact the reception to tell them the date you want to check in early, and they will help you check if you can check in early. If you can, they will send you a contract for the number of days of early check-in for you to sign and pay
The 3 days after booking is the decision-making period, also known as the cooling-off period. If you cancel during this period, the holding deposit can be refunded
Apply on the apartment's official website. After selecting the lease period and room type on the application portal, available room numbers will appear. You can directly select a specific room to book.
If you want to change the room, you need to contact the apartment reception for consultation. If the staff agrees to change your room, a new contract will be sent to the tenant for re-signing, and the guarantor will also need to re-sign the new contract.
TRANSFER OF TENANCY 6.1 You agree that you will not assign, sublet, or charge the Room or any part of it or part with possession or share occupation of the Room or any part of it under any circumstances. However, we may accept a replacement tenant for your room at our sole discretion. It will be your responsibility to find a replacement tenant and we will have sole discretion on whether the new tenant passes all administrative checks. Please note that we will not agree to a replacement tenant unless all outstanding accounts with us are settled. 6.2 If we agree to accept a replacement tenant or agree that you may move rooms you will be required to pay an administration fee of £50 to us for our administration costs. Once the replacement tenant has entered into a Tenancy Agreement and paid their first instalment of Rent, you will not have to pay any further Rent for the Room. You will also be responsible for cleaning the Room once you have left. 6.3 Any decision made to release you from your Tenancy Agreement is made by us, at our sole discretion on a case by case basis
If tenants want to move out early, they will need to find a new tenant to take over their contracts, or they will still have to pay all the rent on the contract.
