I stayed at View Studios a couple of weeks ago and honestly had a great experience. I booked through Booking.com and was a bit hesitant at first because some of the reviews were not the best but I am really glad I did not let that put me off. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff which immediately made me feel at ease. The residents were also incredibly kind and welcoming. They even showed me around the area and invited me to hang out with them which made the whole experience feel much more personal and comfortable. The room itself was very clean and had a great amount of space. I especially appreciated the study area and the fully equipped kitchen which made it feel like a proper home away from home. Anytime I had questions or needed help, the staff were always available and went above and beyond to assist me. Overall, I had a really positive stay and would definitely recommend View Studios to others.

I’ve been living at Host View Studios for over a year now and I genuinely love it here. From day one, the manager and staff have been absolutely amazing. They are not just friendly but truly caring, always ready to help and always understanding what students need. You can really tell they go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and supported. One of the best things about living here is the sense of community they create. The team organises fun events that actually bring people together and help you make real friendships. It never feels lonely here, it honestly feels like a second home. And the free breakfast treats on Fridays are such a lovely bonus that I always look forward to. The study area is another highlight for me, especially with its beautiful view of the park. It is such a calm and positive space to study or just relax. Living here has made my life in London so much easier and happier, and I feel really lucky to have found this place. I would 100 percent recommend it to any student looking for a welcoming, cheerful, and supportive place to live.

The facilities are super comfy and have everything you need. The common areas are usually clean, except for that one dirty corner in the gym where the water bottle is (image below). Since Vanessa became the new manager, there have been many more activities to help residents connect, which I love! I'm really hoping for even more diverse activities in the future. My room is a top-notch Diamond Plus, so it's really spacious (about 34m2) and super comfortable. The bathroom is small but has everything, so this may be a big concern. However, the rooms from "Platinum Plus" down are not so big and can feel a bit claustrophobic. Plus, the bed is small (a 3/4 double), so it's only good for one person, but two people sleeping on it is impossible or extremely uncomfortable, even though the building states on the website that dual occupancy is available. Internet, heating, and hot water are all fast, convenient, and comfortable to use. The staff are incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful! They always feel like friends to me! 😊 That's a huge bonus for this accommodation!💘

Ive been here since September, and If Im completely honest living in accommodation in London in general is never going to be perfect, but at Host View Studios I managed to spend this time well. However, although the staff is very nice they come and go as they please, I’ve been trying to collect my parcel for the past 3 days and couldn’t- wether that be before 9 am or after 4pm. Apparently they close around 7pm, but I was trying to collect before 6pm and there’s a card saying „be right back”- until the AM. Really inconvenient considering I once forgot my room key and needed a spare, and they were closed- there was no phone number to call, no contact info, nothing. This was all before 7pm. Also, I’ve given up after profusely asking to fix my toilet, that keeps leaking, as I know they’ll never fix it. I mentioned this problem at reception maybe a total of 5 times- each time meeting a new reception manager/ supervisor. The ventilation is absolutely completely non existent. The windows obviously (as were in London) only open a bit, and that’s pretty much all you can count on in the heat. £475 a week by the way. All that considered, I’ve been in London 3 years and this was probably the only location (Bermondsey) I actually liked as It’s pretty much close to everything. Accommodation itself? Wouldn’t recommend.

Wow, where to begin! This is also called “For Students Only - Bermondsey in London” gave me a scam-feeling when I found out they are using a different name on Booking! -TV: not working! * Shower: it sprays the water like perfume :)) because of a bad shower head. Also, the water alternates randomly between cold and hot. * Toilet: the sink and shower were clogged from the beginning!!! * Bed: it’s a small bed, 140 cm wide, not the best for two people. * Ventilation: oh wow! I was there in summer. No air conditioner, no fan, and you cannot open the window, only tilt it!! Even on nights when it was cold outside, I was being cooked inside! It’s dangerous!!! * Location: it’s 30-50 mins from the center. * Working hours!: the staff are not there all the time!! It’s a dormitory. During the weekend, only security was there and they knew nothing about anything! Crazy! * There was a friend who arrived at 2 AM from Australia on Friday, got her keys, and imagine what; someone was already in her room!!!! * Super overpriced!!! * No cleaning or changing towels, at least during the weekend!
