Nice accommodation for students and staffs at the reception are so nice. give me a free tour to my room and help me to move in earlier for 2 weeks free. so nice and helpful. the facilities are cool as well

I went to visit for a property viewing as I am considering booking iQ Vega Vauxhall as my university accommodation for my first year at uni. Booking process: Booking the viewing was a super easy process, the staff gave very quick responses and accommodated any needs. I was able to get a viewing within a few days of booking. The property/building: The property was really nice, much nicer than most university accommodations, this is definitely the top end in terms of quality that you're going to get for a student accommodation. - Facilities: (8.5/10) The facilities come with a sky lounge which was clean and has create views, as well as a rooftop area where students can sit and relax and enjoy the weather. Views throughout the property were gorgeous, offering a 360º view of central london and even offering a view of the london skyline. The building also has an on-site laundry room, quiet study area, vending machines for snacks and drinks, a large tv (mini-cinema) sort of area with comfortable sofas and privacy curtains. They also had a separate kitchen/dining area on one of the top floors which residents can book out and host dinners with friends and cook. It was equipped with a dining table, a stove/cooking area that seemed to have everything you could need. There was a reception area with friendly staff and an area to collect your letters and packages. The bathrooms were modern, a bit on the smaller side but as to be expected from university accommodation. They were still decently sized for me (5'2) but may be a bit more difficult for taller/larger people. Lifts were spacious and very quick and smooth to use. They also had a bike shed downstairs as well as a recycling/rubbish area to throw away any waste. The only downside is maybe the lack of parking. There is no garage or car storing area so this may be a problem for students with cars or anybody wishing to drive and keep their vehicle around the premises. Bedrooms: (8/10) The building has many floor to ceiling windows and many of the bedrooms that I viewed had large windows and high ceilings. Lower floor rooms offered air conditioning, the windows on the higher floors were effective in blocking out sound from the train station. The rooms were fairly spacious, similar if not larger than most uni accommodation sizes. The cost of these bedrooms were higher than most places but as to be expected given the facilities and location of the property. You're paying extra for convenience and comfort, this isn't the type of accommodation you'd book for affordability. Location: Some people might be concerned with how close the building is to Vauxhall train station, for me it's a bit of a bonus, the transport links around the property are great! Vauxhall station is maybe a 5-8 minute walk from the property and there is also a bus station right outside ~3 minutes away. I did not find the building to be noisy because of the trains/transport around it but I know some people are sensitive to that sort of thing so I thought I'd mention it (this can easily be managed by booking a higher up room). The staff are always so lovely and helpful!! The shared spaces are a lot of fun to bring friends over. I really like my room as well. My only qualm would be that the elevators tend to go out of service quite a bit which can be quite inconvenient sometimes.

I recently stayed at Vega London and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was modern, spotless, and featured stunning views of the city. The amenities are top-notch—I especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the gym facilities. The location is also perfect; it’s very well-connected to central London via the Northern Line, making it easy to get around. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in London, Vega is the perfect choice. I will definitely be coming back！

I lived here as part of a study abroad program. My stay was three months long, and for the most part I enjoyed living at Vega. The building has 37 floors, with a roof for viewing the city, a (small) gym, a study area, and laundry/trash area. There are three elevators, which would semi-frequently break down. This made it very hard to get to my room on the 18th floor. The staff were always friendly and helpful. One thing that is frustrating is the main delivery system. When a package is delivered and is too big to go in your postbox, it gets stored behind reception and you have to wait for them to scan it in before picking it up. This would sometimes take a couple days which was annoying. The laundry room uses circuit machines, so you’re spending around £8 per load of washing. This isn’t specific to Vega but just something to be aware of. I lived in a flat with 6 other people. My room had no issues at first, but then my shower drain would hold the water and it would fill up really fast. I had to report this to maintenance twice. The first time, it took 5 business days for the problem to be solved. Then, when it came back, it only took a day. However, the problem never truly went away which was frustrating. The facilities are clean and there a lots of community building events that Vega holds. The building is also conveniently located next to two tube stations that give you access to the Victoria line and the Northern line. There is also a huge Sainsburys near by that’s good for doing grocery shopping at. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience to stay here.
