Had an amazing 7 weeks at Charles Morton Court this summer while doing my summer study abroad! The room is very cozy, and had all of the things I needed. There is a good amount of storage! The kitchen is huge, and very well-equipped! The oven runs a bit small, but I just used the stovetop and I had no issues. I appreciated how quiet the area is, although for some the one hour ride to central London may be a bit of a hassle. But there are multiple buses that drop you quite close to the front door: the 141, 341, 73, 38, etc... The area around you is very residential which was a plus for me, plenty of places to eat and full of independent fruit & veg stores, although they tend to be a bit more expensive than just buying from Sainsbury's. This is no fault of CMC, but the people around the area tend to harass women right outside of the residence. Can happen during the day and at night, so if you're a woman, always be vigilant. The staff are wonderful, and put up with me talking to them about the most random things. Check in and check out process were very smooth and they even provide you with your own fitted sheet, which is super kind. The rest is up to you. The laundry machine doesn't always work very well, and theres only 2 washers and 2 dryers, I think for the entire residence, not too sure. Packages are left at the front desk to pick up. Thanks CMC for a great summer!
I visited for a viewing and was really impressed with the accommodation. Everything was super clean, well maintained, and presented to a very high standard. Eric and Katarina were both incredibly helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. Eric gave me a great tour of the building and was also able to provide some really useful information about the local area and transport links. The rooms I viewed were a generous size, and the shared kitchens were also surprisingly spacious. They look like they would be very easy and comfortable to share. Each kitchen comes with a hob, oven and fridge freezer as standard, which is really convenient. I also really liked the garden area. It would be a great place to get some outdoor reading done, relax and get out of your room while still being within the safety and comfort of the building. Overall, I had a really positive experience during the viewing. The accommodation is clean, spacious and well looked after, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. A great first impression and definitely somewhere I would consider staying!
excellent accommodation, clean, good neighborhood and suitable for students from all around the world 🫶🏻
Came for a viewing today with my friend and honestly had a really good experience. The staff took the time to show us 4 different rooms on different floors and facing different sides, which was really helpful and let us compare the different options. The kitchen was way more spacious than I expected too. I've viewed other student accommodations where they barely show you a show flat, and at one really popular place they didn't even take me to see an actual room or explain much. This was a completely different experience. The manager was actually amazing. The staff were really friendly and answered all our questions. Definitely gonna see if me and my friend can book here!
This accommodation was my salvation during my two-month stay! London is a wonderful city, but it can be full of pitfalls for newcomers. The management and the entire staff were incredibly kind and helpful—even more than I expected. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the residents on my floor. I had a very bad experience with them and noticed a total lack of kindness (sadly, fake and mean people exist everywhere!). However, the amazing support from the staff completely made up for it, ensuring my stay remained peaceful and safe. If you are coming to London alone for the first time and feel lost, this student accommodation is an excellent starting point. It is quiet, welcoming, and located in a beautiful, safe area that is well-connected and full of amenities at all hours. To be completely honest, I have just one suggestion for the Prestige Student Living team: it would be incredibly helpful to have an easily accessible emergency phone number or 24/7 reception. Lockouts or key issues happen, and having support outside of the standard 9 am- 5pm hours would make this service even more efficient. I understand it’s not easy to manage, but I hope this feedback helps future students and the accommodation to improve their service!
Great customer service!
I found out about Charles Morton Court through a friend, and I’m honestly so glad I chose to live here! From the moment I moved in, it just felt right. The building is modern, clean, and the rooms are way more spacious than I expected, which made settling in so much easier. My favourite thing about my room is definitely the view! I’m on the fourth floor, and I love looking out over the rooftops, especially around sunset. It’s so peaceful, and sometimes I catch myself just standing there for a minute and taking it all in after a busy day at uni! Another thing that makes a big difference is the staff. Everyone is friendly, approachable, and quick to help whenever you need something, which makes you feel really supported living away from home. Overall, it’s such a comfortable and welcoming place to live! It genuinely feels like a home, not just student accommodation, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere they can feel settled and happy!
Amazing place! Rooms are perfectly sized and private, really good value for money. Management and staff were super, the other student residents are friendly and it's never a hassle to commute. Highly recommend this accommodation for people who're studying in Bloomsbury (like UCL and SOAS) particularly if they're looking for something more private and personal without it being too far from campus.

Very modern student accommodation. Nice park on site. Perfect for postgrad students.
Staff are alright but the living conditions are near unbearable. I don’t think I have a full month where there was not an issue with heating or hot water. Mind you I am paying £300 a week. Washing machines also hardly function let alone clean your clothes on a full cycle.
Charles Morton Court is truly the ideal place to live—a true "home away from home." It offers an unparalleled sense of comfort and belonging, unmatched by any other accommodation in London. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed by an atmosphere that feels both warm and familiar, making it the perfect sanctuary in the bustling city. The property is conveniently situated close to both bus stops and tube stations, ensuring effortless connectivity to the rest of London. The proximity to essential amenities and services only adds to the ease of living here, making it an all-around perfect choice for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and community. In every way, Charles Morton Court exceeds expectations, offering a living experience that stands out as truly exceptional in London.
Since moving in, Vanessa and Andrea have been amazing! Moving in day was easy, any issues they are always there to help. So much better than my last accommodation, would definitely recommend
Vanessa and Andrea have been the best help since moving in here. They help with any issue we need and are so accommodating. Very happy with my room and location everything has been great since moving in. Rebooked my room for next year aswell !
If I’m being honest, I was a bit skeptical about booking here after reading all the reviews on Google. However, my experience was quite different. I was able to check in very smoothly, and Vanessa and Andrea are super helpful- no matter what the issue is. They’re always there when I’ve needed assistance with something, and very supportive. Another thing I love is that Vanessa and Andrea do weekly kitchen checks to keep us on track with our cleanliness, and this keeps everyone in the flat accountable for maintaining the shared spaces. A welcome party was organised for us- and the reception team really went above and beyond with their efforts. Balloons, music, lights, free food and drinks- it exceeded expectations. I’m eagerly awaiting all the other events Vanessa has planned for the rest of the year :) The rooms here are great too (seriously, I’ve had friends come over and positively exclaim about how spacious the rooms are as compared to some other student accommodations). The kitchen is modern, with plenty of storage for everyone. We still have some cupboards going empty! Overall, I strongly recommend this accommodation for any student. Central London is a short bus ride away, the area is safe, the building and room infrastructure is great, the people are really friendly, and the reception team is absolutely wonderful. Not a single bad thing to say.
The former agent told me a wrong agreement. The company won’t compensate for their agent’s fault and force me to pay a balance that I can’t even afford and agree from the beginning. Then when asked about the agent that told the agreement to me, she apparently left the company and put the balance all on me. This problem has been running since last year because of their very slow response. After months I thought it was clear, I didn’t sign in to my UK email account. Turned out they already sent a debt collector to this problem. Very disrespectful. My problem should have resolved since last year if they are responsive. I also heard they didn’t chase those who already disappeared and didn’t reply their emails at all. Very bad experience overall
Moved out 4 months ago, still waiting on my deposit to be refunded. Management now ignores all emails. Would love to hear if anyone actually received their deposit back!
