Came all the way from Australia wanted a good hotel well located and booked the barkston, from the minute i walked in Aziz ( sorry if I spelt wrong) made my experience incredible. I would rate it 6 stars if I could! A big thank you to him and the hotel. Super impressed! Will definitely be back

I stayed at The Barkston for 10 nights for work (and Wimbledon). The room renovations, lighting and styling are excellent. Good linen and bathroom product. Excellent use of space in the rooms. I didn't miss a minibar. The location can't be beaten- everything is at your doorstep. Aqeel and his team were extremely helpful - 24 hour reception is great. I will be back. Recommend.

Hôtel vraiment très sympa, avec un bon emplacement à 3 minutes de la Picadilly Line, dans un quartier résidentiel calme. L’hôtel est très propre, rénové et décoré avec soin, le personnel est très serviable aussi. Mon seul point négatif est que les portes de chaque chambre ne soit pas isolé, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, et si vous avez une chambre comme moi à côté de l’ascenseur ce n’est vraiment pas agréable. Aussi toutes les chambres ne sont pas équipées de réfrigérateur, la mienne qui était pourtant une chambre double classique n’en avait pas, en plein été ce n’est pas top .. mais sinon très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande malgré tout !

Had a very pleasant stay here. They offered me another room because the tv was not working properly. Fortunately for me, all the similar rooms were fully booked, so I was upgraded. Grateful for this experience and the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I booked this hotel in a last minute trip and found a very impressive deal. I later realised that this wasn’t the usual price. The hotel had just opened a few days ago and it was still being finished, so I guess that was the reason for the bargain price. It is situated less than 5 minutes distance from the Earl’s Court station, with a lot of shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. However, it is in a quieter square, so there is not a lot of noise around. The guy at the reception desk was very polite and nice. It is important to add that it does have a lift.||My room was a single with no window, but I was upgraded to a bigger double room. And what a nice one! Everything looked pristine, specially the bathroom, with golden taps and finish. The shower was certainly amazing and the toiletries smelt fantastic. The mirror lit around it, that was very cool. The room was a bit warm, but there was air conditioning, plus a big TV, hairdryer, kettle and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker that I couldn’t manage to make work. The décor was lovely, in green and beige, and I liked the framed vinyl record on the wall detail. There were plenty of light points and plugs all around the room, next to the bedside table and the little desk. There was a chair, pegs on the wall for jackets, and a built-in wardrobe space with a big mirror. The bed was huge, very comfy, although the cover was a bit too warm, but the air conditioning helped. My room was interior, so I had a view of the back of the building and other buildings around. But that wasn’t a problem and helped in making it quieter.||On the negatives, some areas still looked unfinished, like the reception desk, but that wasn’t a real problem. The fire alarm scared me a little bit after arrival. Becaus the hotel was new, they were testing it and blocked the lift, but thankfully it wasn’t a real dangerous situation. Also, I couldn’t find any sugar for my coffee/tea, because they hadn’t receive it yet. The fan in the bathroom was a bit too noisy, but it wasn’t a massive problem. Nothing too serious and understandable given that the hotel had just opened. I just wish that the real prices were more affordable so I could stay here again!

It is clean and aesthetically pleasing, rooms are a bit small and no fridge but staff is Amazing, we lost our phone while we were outside and they were very helpful and called the restaurant to check for us if they have it and directed us were we can check it in case we have lost it in the bus and we actually found it. Simple, new renovated place, good for short term stay. Room smaller than pics (maybe because I got the basement room). No phone or fridge, and no restaurant but lots of cafe nearby. Basically only rooms. Like the location, I’ll come again.
