I spent 3 months here and had no issues with cleanliness or pests. The staff was really helpful. The only downside was younger students being noisy late at night or setting off the alarms. Aside from that, I felt completely safe during my whole stay. I also found the education to be perfectly adequate.

Quartos com camas beliche, banheiro completo, cozinha com fogão de indução, micro-ondas, geladeira, chaleira e torradeira elétricas, todos os utensílios copo, caneca, pratos panelas, talheres. Mesa de trabalho, cadeira, armários e ventilador. Um ponto interessante, como não estão preparados para o calor,nesse verão extremo o local ficava muito quente.

The lady manager and receptionist is completely rude and unprofessional staff seem to ignore you highly overpriced and you could end up with any stranger as your roommate I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately. :(

Fantastic experience overall, with a few things to point out. - excellent location, very close to bus and train stations - Jack and Beatrice are amazing teachers - The hob didn’t work and they fixed it so quickly - i was there in july, when the temperatures were so high, and there was so hot in the rooms because there was’t conditioner air and the windows can only be tilted, not opened. - It's false that there are insects, as I had read in some reviews. In short, I would repeat my stay there but not in summer.

The biggest issue was the staff. They were often unhelpful and seemed to ignore guests. We also had problems getting our room, and it took an incredibly long time before everything was sorted out, with very little communication or assistance. The rooms are extremely basic and don’t even include essentials like hand soap, so you have to buy almost everything yourself. There is no air conditioning, which is understandable in London, but the ventilation is terrible. The window barely opens, and one small fan is nowhere near enough, especially in the summer. The bathroom layout is also poorly designed, with a single translucent glass door shared between the shower and the toilet, offering very little privacy. The room also had a strong sewage smell throughout our stay, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The bed was very uncomfortable, basically just a wooden platform with a very thin mattress. The restaurant downstairs was also disappointing, with poor-quality food and coffee.

This place is horrible and all the terrible reviews here are true. Staff is super rude, doing laundry is a nightmare because most dryers don't work, the room doesn't include ANYTHING, so you need to buy every single thing including hand soap, no AC (which it's normal) but there's no air flow at all since the one window only opens like 5cm and they only provide one tiny fan per room, fire alarms go off all the time in the middle of the night, the bathroom situation is just weird and poorly designed with a shared single translucent glass door for the restroom and the shower, the "bed" a just a single piece of plywood with a super thin cushion thing, and the food and coffee at the restaurant downstairs is also horrible. Also, whole place has a very weird smell

My daughter just arrived home from her study abroad trip to London and stayed at your facility! I’m absolutely appalled at some of the things she told me about the lack of cleanliness and comfort in her room! She has been home for about two weeks and today we noticed some bugs on some of her clothing and realized they were bed bugs! Not only are they on her clothing that she brought back in her suit case, we found some on her mattress and her bedding!!! She must have had them on her clothes in your apartment then they came home with her and now have decided to live in my home! This is so unacceptable for the money we spent for her to stay there! In the meantime I’m having an exterminator come tomorrow and most likely will be getting rid of her mattress and i threw away her nice new foam topper after seeing the bugs in there! We have been washing all her clothes in hot water and hot dryer and must have shrunk so many nice items of clothing! This is so frustrating and not to Mention how many days this is taking us to resolve the situation!!!! Your staff needs to know that this is unacceptable and you need to clean up your rooms and do high quality inspections before new students move it! So disgusting!!!!

Why is there no air conditioning and a horrible fan for two people especially using a bunk bed where the fan will only reach one person?? Like it’s okay to feel comfortable in the heat and not just suffer. Please update the whole building with a better AC system for each room.

I can’t even believe that this place has four stars. It should be much, much lower. My experience with the Stay Club has been absolutely horrible. To start, the lobby and the rest of the building are decorated very oddly, and the entire place smells awful. I had to plug my nose every time I used the staircase to the basement because it smelled so bad. Then, when you get to your room, you are met with a tiny prison cell. They put two people together in a room that is barely big enough for one. I didn’t even get a real bed. I slept on a 2-inch pad during my stay, and it was even worse than it sounds. The rooms were also not properly cleaned when we arrived, and they were honestly disgusting. On top of that, there was pretty much no ventilation in the rooms. The window barely cracked open, and there was no screen, so bugs would get into the room anytime you tried to get a little fresh air. The shower would also leak, which was super inconvenient. The staff here are completely unhelpful and rude most of the time. There were constant issues with the Wi-Fi, so it was super unreliable. They were also having problems with the fire alarms, which would go off in the middle of the night. And good luck trying to do your laundry, because the laundry machines don’t work either. If you are looking for a place to stay in London, I would stay away from the Stay Club.

Nice place but workers are rude and will complain about anything. Yelled at for having a hood on coming inside when it’s down-pouring outside. Currently it’s 1:30 Am and the fire alarm has been going off for over 30 minutes and workers can’t figure out how to shut it off. (It was accidentally set off from a fire exit door opening).

I had a lovely day at the state club, however This review because the fire alarm has been going on and off in our room for the last 20 minutes and this is the fourth time the fire alarm has gone off and we’ve only been here for a week. It has been going off for forever and it’s 1:20 AM and it was confirmed to be a false alarm after a minute of ringing. I’m in shock. They haven’t turned it off by now as it’s been going off and still going off as I’m writing this review for 20 minutes so do what you will with this information.

The experience was satisfying regarding the services provided.
