Perfect and delicious!!

Truly among the finest accommodations a student could hope to call home. Its location is exceedingly convenient, with bus and Tube stations lying wonderfully close at hand, making every journey effortless. Safety, too, is of the highest order, within a secure building watched over round the clock. The accommodation thoughtfully host gatherings, allowing people to mingle and form the loveliest of connections. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, responsible, and respectful, ever willing to go beyond their duties for the sake of the students. “A special word must be reserved for Hasan, the most helpful and gracious of all; ever ready to guide, unfailingly respectful, and truly someone upon whom students can rely.” Study spaces, gaming room, and theatre, it was a place my friends always delighted in visiting. Above all, exceptionally precious to me and shall always be. :)

Living here for the past year has been hands down the best experience I've had. From the moment I moved in, the team made me feel right at home. ​What really makes this place stand out is the incredible staff. They are exceptionally kind, helpful, and always ready to support you with anything you need.

I have been living in this student accommodation for the past year and honestly, my experience has been really good. The accommodation is well maintained and the staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special mention to Hassan, who has always been extremely helpful and supportive whenever I needed anything. He is genuinely one of the best members of the staff and always makes sure residents feel comfortable and looked after. Overall, I have had a great experience living here and would definitely recommend this accommodation to other students.

Where to even begin. What a horror show. I lived here for one year. The only pro is that it’s across the street from Queen Mary University. For this price, you’re better off just renting an actual studio or taking a chance on Spare Room. I have had several issues that I raised to management, ranging from ant infestations to excessive heat up to 38 degrees, to broken appliances, and more, only to be told that there was “nothing they could do.” When I emailed and asked if they could please escalate my issues to their main office, or someone who could “make those decisions” (eg. reimbursement for any of the issues I encountered), no one ever followed up with me. For some reason, they do not treat the students living here as having the same rights as tenants. Some examples of the many, many issues I encountered include, but are not limited to: -Excessive heat going up to 38 degrees, unable to open a window beyond 2” with a south facing window. I literally fainted in my room and could not store medication out in the open. I could not rest, eat, study, etc. in the space I am paying an arm and a leg for. I was told to “get a fan”, which, of course I did. But it’s seriously a health hazard. -maintenance and front desk entering your space with no advance notice and leaving a little post card saying “we were here!” (Invasion of Privacy and also against reasonable notice—also these are for “check ups” and not the times when I actually needed their help) -two electric hobs with the energetic capacity of an easy-bake oven. Don’t expect to be able to cook. -fire alarms that go off daily -maintenance not being available over the weekends, so if your toilet breaks (which it will!) you have to go to the front desk to get a special key to access a shared toilet on a separate floor -being told that cold water coming out of my shower was “not a feature they provide” only to have someone come and completely replace and fix the shower head 10 months later during the heat wave when my mini fridge and freezer also blew out. -an ant infestation so bad that when a front desk receptionist came up to my room to help me with a vacuum, by the time we had “cleared it” more ants had already come swarming. I woke up covered in bugs who also got into my food supply. -When I had to move urgently due to the infestation, I was told no one who works there could “touch my belongings” so I had to take time off of work unexpectedly during the day to move in the building. -and just generally being treated as a nuisance and ignored for raising very reasonable concerns that would be addressed by a landlord in any other situation. -Also, for moving out, they have a strict 10am policy meaning that I will have to wait in the lobby for 6 hours with my belongings before I can get the keys to my next place. I don’t believe anyone is moving in at 10:01, but again, another example of a type of accommodation, flexibility, or general respect and understanding for the people who live here. What a horrible experience. Avoid it at all costs.

Amazing, Friendly staff and a really nice play to stay! Definitely recommend!
