No Place No Pay: the provisions for No Place No Pay set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply, save that this option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

5 days to accept the offer+ 7 days cooling-off period(AY2627) Once a booking is processed, the student has 5 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland). Once these steps are done, the booking is completed. If one of the step is not completed within these 5 days, the offer will expire. If the student still wants a room, we can re-process a booking, but we cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available. Once the booking is completed, the student has another 7 days to change their mind and cancel their booking without any reasons. This is called the cooling-off period.

International cancellation policy Making a Booking Once a booking is processed, the student has 5 days to accept the offer. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur. The cancellation requests along with the proof documents must be sent by the student, from the email address they have registered their account with Supplier and must be sent to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com. If an agent is involved the evidence must be sent to the agent and then forwarded on to internationalcancellations@unitestudents.com. Replacement Tenants – Before your Tenancy Start Date has occurred If you have proposed a replacement Tenant prior to your Tenancy Start Date, Supplier has complete discretion as to whether it: a. accepts the proposed replacement Tenant and enters into a Tenancy Agreement with them; b. places the room back on general sale; or c. allocates the room it to an alternative student on a waiting list to enter into a Tenancy Agreement. we will release you from your Tenancy Agreement on the date seven days after any of the above has occurred. The student remains liable for the rent unless they find a replacement Tenant.
