Early Move-in Policy
If you wish to arrive earlier than your contract start date, you need to email or call the sales team on 0330 127 6886 or salesenquiries@wearehomesforstudents.com. If early arrival is possible your contract will be adjusted and you will need to accept it then pay the additional charges prior to arrival. Please note, not all requests can be accommodated.

Room Assignment Policy
If you follow the ‘book now’ process you can select the room of your choice or you can make special requests within the ‘create application’ route which we will do our best to accommodate, however all requests and subject to availability and conditions.
Room Change Policy
You would need to make a formal request to the accommodation team of the property you are residing in. If you request to move rooms during your tenancy you will also be issued with new documents confirming the details of the room move which you will need to sign or accept online. Should your new room be more expensive, then you and your guarantor shall be liable for the higher rent from the date you are given access to it.

Termination Policy
You cannot terminate your tenancy agreement once you have moved in, even if you have terminated your university/college course. You will need to move out of the accommodation, but you will remain liable for the remaining rent charges until the end of the fixed term period or until the end of any applicable legal notice to quit period that applies under current legislation, or until you find a suitable replacement student. Once we have accepted the replacement student, or the end of any applicable legal notice to quit period that applies under current legislation has passed, you must return the room key to the property office within 5 working days. You will need to confirm your contact details to the property team before moving out to ensure you can be notified. If the room is re-let we will refund your deposit, less any appropriate charges and a deduction of £50 for administration of the variation of your tenancy agreement.
