Living here has genuinely made my university experience so much better. The accommodation is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with friendly staff who are always happy to help whenever needed. The atmosphere is welcoming and feels like a real student community, making it easy to settle in.

Great student accommodation, kind staff who are very helpful. The studio I am staying in is soundproof with a lovely view of the Plymouth hoe. Certainly a nice stay for a student who likes to live independently

Highly recommended accommodation in Plymouth. Have lived in Saltwater across 3 years and you really get what you pay for. Yes, the room's are a bit more pricey compared to other places in Plymouth, however you're paying for a smooth and stress-free experience across the year. Maintenance is excellent, and rooms are very well maintained, as well as the common room areas. Staff are very helpful and are very prompt when addressing issues, but also very inclusive in hosting events such as iftaars for Muslim residents! Some of my best years at uni were at Saltwater - would highly recommend.

the best uni accommodation i rented a classic studio plus on the 1st floor which is south facing. although the windows don’t open on the first floor due to planning permission, i loved my room. the staff are beyond excellent and maintenance issues were fixed either same day or within 48 hours. the reception staff are also super friendly and great to chat with. my studio had a good kitchen, a large desk with drawers, a standard wardrobe (which was actually bigger than i thought!), a small double bed with shelving etc, and a bathroom. the water pressure was really good and the room was clean on arrival. everything worked and there was no mould or any issues you will find in other student accoms. the mattress was new, but if you want more comfort then dunelm round the corner sells good thick mattress toppers for £30. saltwater place runs competitions and fun days where you can get free food or win a jellycat! the new gym was lovely, clean and normally quiet. in block A, the lift never broke down, which was a worry of mine so i asked for a first floor room. they also always emailed 24 hours before entering your room (which is rare in student lets!) there were no unexpected costs throughout my tenancy and after it ended. i actually enjoyed living here so much, and this is a common opinion shared between lots of us. i wish i could’ve stayed for longer! cons- the sinks in the studios are tiny (like caravan size) so it’s hard to wash up my room was 35°c, with two industrial fans on, most of summer but i believe the heat management is being reviewed the windows in my room didn’t open, which added to the heat it’s quite pricey and circuit laundry is expensive but this isn’t the accoms fault there’s no free car parking anywhere no pets and no exceptions

if i could give it a 0 star review, i would. The staff are incompetent with fixing equipment in both communal areas and in rooms, rooms came with mould at the start of the year, staff dont get involved when it is requested that they talk to someone about being messy. They lock you into a contract so that you cant cancel a booking after you realise how nasty the building is and how useless the staff are. They spend their time begging tenants to give them a good review online but dont want to bother putting effort in to get the good reviews. Do not stay here.
