The 2 options to terminate a lease is to pay off the lease balance or relet which is having someone take over the lease for them. Here's how reletting works: ①Notify Management: Please inform the leasing office of the intention to terminate lease through reletting. Student can do this by submitting a written notice or contacting the property directly. ②Find a Replacement: It will be the resident's responsibility to find a suitable replacement tenant who is willing to take over the remainder of the lease agreement. ③Approval Process: Once the resident have found a replacement tenant, they will need to submit an application and go through the standard approval process. This includes a background check and credit check. ④Lease Transfer: Upon approval of the replacement tenant, they will sign a new lease agreement with the leasing office, and the lease will be terminated effective the start date of the new lease.
Please be advised that the lease term is strictly governed by the dates specified in the contract. Early termination of the lease is not allowed under any circumstances.
