Melbourne Burwood campus is at 221 Burwood Highway, Burwood VIC 3125 — approximately 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. The most convenient transport is the #75 tram, which stops directly at the campus entrance on Burwood Highway and runs to Central Pier in the CBD. The SmartBus 903 also serves the campus. Nearest train stations are Box Hill (Lilydale/Belgrave lines) and Burwood (Alamein line).
As of 2023, Australian international student work rights during semester were reinstated to 48 hours per fortnight (previously 40 hours). During university breaks, there is no restriction on hours worked. The minimum wage in Victoria for 2025–26 is A$24.10/hour for adults. Part-time work in retail, hospitality, and campus roles is widely available in the Box Hill and Burwood area.
