Canvas Coventry City Point

The staff here are lovely from everyone of them. They’ve made city point HOME for me

This is the number 1 place that I would genuinly recommend over and over again . I absolutely love it here and have rebooked 2 times already. The team are so lovely, helpful and incredibly patient, but most of all responsive. As soon as you ask for something or voice something they sort it. You also just have the chance to feel like an independent person here and not just a uni student.

safe comfortable

Canvas City Point Centre, Coventry is a great student accommodation with a central location, modern rooms, and a comfortable living environment. The facilities are well maintained, Wi-Fi is reliable, and the community feels friendly and safe. Overall, it’s a convenient and good-value option for students in Coventry.

I am extremely disappointed, and this has been one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The main issue is the person living next door. There is a strong smell of weed coming into my room and even into my toilet, which is disgusting and completely unacceptable. On top of that, he shouts during the middle of the night and plays loud music, disturbing my sleep and peace. I have already gone to reception and complained about this. However, the response I received was very disappointing. I was told that maybe he is playing music because he is “having a good time.” I found this extremely unprofessional, because one person having a good time should not mean disturbing other residents, especially at night. I also raised the issue of the weed smell, but I was told that he burns scented sticks and does not smoke weed. With respect, I know what weed smells like, and this is not simply scented sticks. Other flatmates have also complained about him, yet it feels like management is not taking the matter seriously. This situation has made me feel uncomfortable, frustrated, and unhappy in my own room. I came here expecting a safe, clean, peaceful, and professionally managed place to live, but my experience has been the opposite. At this stage, I feel that the management has handled this very poorly, and I am deeply disappointed. This is not acceptable accommodation, especially when residents are paying to live here. To be completely honest, based on my experience so far, I would never choose to live here again, and I would strongly warn others not to make the same mistake.

The reception staff provided extremely poor service with a very bad attitude and unprovoked hostility towards me during my stay. There was no reasonable explanation for their rude and unfriendly behaviour. After I submitted feedback and complained about this unacceptable service issue, the apartment management did not respond at all, choosing to remain silent and treat my complaint with complete indifference. This kind of irresponsible and cold response has made me feel very uncomfortable, disappointed and disrespected. I am extremely dissatisfied with the overall service and the way they handled the problem.
