St Leonard's House in Lancaster is generally considered a solid and convenient student accommodation option, particularly for those who prioritise location and modern living. Situated right in the city centre, it offers excellent access to shops, nightlife. and transport links, making daily life very easy and well-connected. The modern, fully furnished, and come in both ensuite and studio options, which cater to different budgets and lifestyles. A major strength of the accommodation is its friendly and responsive staff, who are frequently praised for being helpful and approachable. As an international student, living away from home is not easy, but St Leonard’s House truly feels like home. From the first day, I felt safe and welcomed. The staff are very kind and supportive, which means a lot when you are far from your family. I also appreciate the small thoughtful things, like freebies during events and sometimes breakfast at the reception, which really help on busy university mornings. The rooms and kitchen are well equipped with appliances like an oven, microwave, air fryer, and toaster, which is very helpful since buying these as an international student is expensive. The room has good storage, and the bed is very comfortable after long days at university. The Wi-Fi works well for studying, and safety is taken seriously with regular fire drills. The location is also perfect close to the city centre, supermarkets, and just a five-minute walk to the bus station. Overall, St Leonard’s House offers great comfort, support, and value for money.

I have stayed in many student housings previously and this has been my favourite one. The staff are so lovely and I really love my room. The area is very convenient for travelling onto campus and it's close to the centre of town as well. The gym is great and the communal kitchen/ games room is really nice to stay in with some mates :). I really recommend this if you're a student who is wanting to commute onto campus as it's so close to the bus station!

This apartment is very close to the town and quiet, which is suitable for studying. It is also well-equipped with a gym, billiard table and so on. The interior of the apartment is very clean and tidy, and the facilities are relatively new. At the same time, the workers often hold social activities to make new friends. There is a supermarket and a bus stop nearby, which is very convenient. Moreover, there are amazing social venues here.

I recently stayed at St Leonard in Lancaster, and it was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect — just a short walk from the city centre, big supermarket (like Sainbury), and public transport (at Cable Street). The room was cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a modern kitchenette. However, it cannot open window that's the only drawback of it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to offer local tips and ensure my stay was enjoyable. I especially appreciated the small touches, like complimentary snack and coffee, and the quick response to any requests. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the UK and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality!

Nice bedroom with high ceilings. Lots of wardrobe space, shelf space and under bed storage. Upon arriving, my room and bathroom were nice and clean. Really nice communal kitchen and games room downstairs to chill with friends. Lifts in every corner and access to the gym is included within the rent. Really close to Sainsbury’s and the bus station. The windows don't open but there is a ventilation system to ensure airflow. Overall it’s a great accom and im enjoying my stay here☺️

This is indeed a nice place. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help me. As a resident of ensiut, the kitchen here is quite spacious, equipped with both an oven and a microwave, and the refrigerator is also large enough. When I checked-in, the room was very clean and the view outside the window was very nice. The basement floor has a gym and a large entertainment room that can be used for parties. The bin store and laundry room are also very convenient. As a student of Lancaster University, I can walk to the school bus stop within five minutes. This place is very close to the commercial district. It only takes 3 to 5 minutes to reach boots, sainsbury's and other places. Living here is very convenient.

I moved recently to this accommodation from my home country. The staff have been really helpful and supportive. The accommodation is overall well-kept. Although the price in the studio where I am living is high, it is a better option than living in an ensuite at campus for the same price!!. St Leonards House is well located near the Bus Station and supermarkets. The accommodation features a gym and social spaces as added bonuses. However, the gym is small and lacks a lot of equipment, but it is suitable for basic workouts.

St Leonard’s house is a great place to live. Transitioning from campus into the city can be challenging and a big change, but the staff here are lovely and go out of their way to make sure everything is okay and that you’re comfortable. It is in a great location, being close to the bus station as well as sainsbury’s, and the rooms are spacious with nice en-suite bathrooms. The only downside is that the windows do not open so sometimes the rooms can get quite warm.

Great location and local amenities. Walking distance to the train station, city centre, Lancaster University and Royal Lancaster Hospital. Lots of great takeaway food including halal food and restaurants. On site free access Gym and communal lounge and kitchen. A few maintenance issues, however the maintenance team promptly fixes them on short notice.
