Instalments. Students with a permanent UK home address usually have the option of paying in one, three or seven instalments. Students with a permanent address outside the UK typically face different arrangements, often paying in fewer, larger payments unless a UK guarantor is provided.

Deposit. An advance rent payment of around £250 is required to secure the room, and this is adjusted against your rent rather than held separately. Any additional security amounts follow standard UK deposit protection rules.
